It is built on the same platform as the higher priced HDX 7000 and 8000 Series products. There are some limits to its connectivity options but they do not matter to most users. This HDX 6000 comes with the standard HDX EagleEye HD camera with PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) capability and not the cheaper EagleEye View camera found on the "HDX 6000 View" model. The EagleEye View camera does not have actual PTZ capability so it will only work in a small room with 3-4 people. This HDX 6000 will work in a large room, with a larger audience, with a large monitor, and it comes with the standard HDX microphone array too. The HDX 6000 Series includes People+Content IP to allow users to present material direct from their laptop or PC. All-in-all this system is a bargain.
