DHD Testing Procedure DHD Technician Quality Check List DHD product is verified to be completely free of cosmetic defects. All Serial numbers, OEM labels, and holograms must match and be completely intact. Each piece of hardware is powered up and allowed to run to its normal operating temperature to allow for any thermal errors to show up. Internal diagnostics are run and a search for any system errors is reported. DHD verifies that all core components and auxiliary hardware (cables, rack mounts, & accessories) are included with any chassis being tested. Confirm that all slots, ports, and connectors are in working condition. An assembled item is powered on and tested as a fully configured unit. Orders are customizable to each customer and can be configured for the ease of plug and play in the field. DHD then determines that the product has met the strict guidelines to be placed on the shelf for resale. DHD wants our customers to be confident that they are purchasing quality product that has met strict requirements. DHD Packaging Procedure Each product is individually packaged, sealed, and labeled to ensure safe shipment, and ease of use. We pack our equipment in an anti-static environment using anti-static bags and wrap. We individually wrap accessories and equipment to keep items as secure as possible. All replacement products will be invoiced to customer. Credits will be issued to customer when RMA'd product has been received by Data Hardware Depot. Returned products are to be shipped using the RMA # as the Attention To. Product damaged in transit due to poor packaging will be the responsibility of the customer. DHD reserves the right to refuse shipment or deny credit for products damaged in transit due to improper packaging. Terms and Conditions- Return of Working Hardware: All product(s) that are returned as Working Hardware carry a 20% Restock Fee, plus additional shipping charges. If DHD does not receive RMAd equipment within 14 days of issue date the RMA is not valid and customer is responsible for paying the original invoice in full. Definition of Working Hardware: any product ordered mistakenly by the customer that the customer would now like to return, or a product in which DHD offered the customer a replacement product, but the customer refused, is considered Working Hardware. All hardware being returned that is considered to be in Working Hardware condition is subject to DHD approval and at the company's sole discretion.
