This phone works on both VoIP and on POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) which is what you find in a home and what a standard business line used to be. Yes, this works on both: an Internet connection and on an analog line. It comes complete with all necessary cables to connect it to both an analog line and your LAN. It also comes with a power supply and an instruction guide. This Polycom Duo comes in original Polycom packaging and looks unused. It comes with a 90 Day Warranty. We do know how to test it. We have tested it. It will be professionally packaged and shipped within one business day. SoundStation Duo SoundStation Duo connects directly to a standards-based Analog line like your home phone uses. Most digital phone systems can also provide an analog line for the Duo, but usually an expensive analog station card and more than an hour of a phone system technician's time is required. The good news is that you can easily adapt a digital phone to work with a Duo by connecting it with the Konexx Konference digital phone adapter that we sell for just $119. SoundStation Duo also connects directly to your Ethernet LAN connection provided you have a compatible VoIP switch of your own or you are subscribed to a compatible hosted VoIP service.
