I have been in the large format printing business for 18 years. Have been printing canvas for 12 years. Have been printing Solvent and Eco Solvent canvas for 10 years. I used to use Fredrix 901SG canvas, which has always worked well.  However, with competition in the canvas business increasing, had to find a more cost effective solution without hurting quality. I have found a 100% polyester Canvas that prints extremely nice.  On par or even better than the Fredrix. It does not have the cotton feel on the back like a traditional 100% cotton or a Poly/Cotton blend, but the front is beautiful.  It stretches fine, no cracking, stretches fine.  If your customers just care about the texture, and the print quality, then will not be disappointed at all.  I have switched to this canvas for all our work now, and am passing on the quantity savings to others. I print using Mimaki JV3, JV33 and Epson GS6000s & Surecolors. In fact, it works better also because less lint build up on the print heads from the cotton fibers. At almost half the price as Fredrix, you should give it a shot.  Fredrix comes in 75ft rolls, which is annoying since we print a lot at a time.  My rolls come in 100ft lengths. Price for Fredrix around $260 per roll.  Thats 60"x 75ft, which is 275 sq/ft comes to $.69 sq/ft Price for My Polyester Canvas is $225, which is 60" x 100ft = 500 sq/ft comes to $.45 sq/ft. If you buy 3 rolls or more, we charge $180 per roll, which comes to $.36 sq/ft. It's a no brainer.
