These graduated 17 x 100mm culture tubes are precision-molded with premium grade polypropylene and have a rounded bottom. Polypropylene tubes are chemically resistant, tough, and semi-transparent. Additionally, they can be autoclaved although they cannot be placed over an open flame or heat source above 240 degrees Fahrenheit. Caps cannot be autoclaved as well. With polypropylene material, breakage problems associated with glass tubes are prevented. These general purpose tubes are perfect for a wide range of applications. The kit includes hollow bottom plug cap in your preference of Red, White, or Blue. The dimensions of these tubes are as follows: Diameter: 17mm (5/8ths inch), Length: 100mm (4 inches), Volume: 16mls.
