This interesting 90-page book, with 212 illustrations, is a 1st edition reprint of  Popular Mechanics Magazine's exceptionally useful and very clever techniques used by the lathe operators in the early 1900s, well before the advent of computerized machine tools.  The methods described in this book are still very valid today and can be used by lathe operators. The book is in overall very good condition, with the single exception of the stamped name and address of the original owner and the date (Jan. 29,1992) of purchase written on the inside front cover (see Photo 2).  There are no marks or writings anywhere else in the book.
