LAST ONE!  This Model JM Jeepmeter is in tested working order and comes with its nice hard carrying case. It will NOT detect holidays in coatings, but is used to properly set up your holiday detector voltages to correctly inspect those coatings.  It features a digital display of measured voltages. The precision measurement displayed eliminates interpretation errors and is perfect for every day tests. This Jeepmeter measures both pulse and DC voltage output. A pulse wave form output by SPY pulse detectors is not correctly measured by normal commercial volt meters. This unit will correctly measure that output.  The pulse type holiday detectors, are used to inspect shrink sleeves, tapes, coal tars, etc., this JM meter will measure up to 40 kv. For DC holiday detectors, it works up to 5 Kv, mainly on thin film epoxy coatings. With the increased governmental scrutiny it is wise to correctly calibrate your coating tester with a calibration instrument made specifically for your holiday detector. The JM is powered by with standard 9-volt alkaline batteries.
