Thank you for your interest and bid on this item. The Potomac Instruments FIM 21 belonging to my father is in excellent working condition, as evidenced by its perfect performance when tuned to a local AM station, where I was able to listen to sports talk radio. However, it should be noted that this unit does not measure the expanded AM band. As a Radio/TV engineer, my father took great care of his equipment, and to the best of my knowledge, this unit is fully functional. While I lack the expertise to conduct a comprehensive test, it is clear that the power is on and the display is operational. Regrettably, my father has passed away, leaving behind no need for this equipment, and therefore there will be no possibility of returns. The Potomac Instruments FIM 21 will be carefully packaged and shipped via UPS, with the shipping cost borne by the buyer as indicated in the listing. Alternatively, local pick up in Huffman, TX is possible, and free of charge.
