Item Description And Condition: You are bidding on a used Potomac Instruments FIM-41 540 kHz to 5 MHz field intensity meter. The overall condition of the meter is excellent with a few scratches from normal use. The meter was last calibrated on November 7, 2005, and although it’s calibration date is old, it does agree very closely with another FIM that has a recent calibration date on five frequencies spread across the band. The field intensity meter powers up and performs flawlessly over it’s entire rated frequency range of 540 kHz to 5 MHz. One picture shows the meter measuring a local signal on 1100 kHz after calibration. Another picture shows the condition of the internal batteries and the battery circuitry. The FIM-41 will be shipped in a heavy-wall cardboard carton that is lined with foam, that can be used to transport the meter or ship it safely. Thanks for looking.
