You are viewing one of the simplest yet one of the most used tools in the television broadcast installation industry. It's origins are disputed and it is known by many names such as "Matt-O-Wrap", "Rude-A-Wrap" or "Monkey Board" (amongst others). It stands out as a vital tool for putting the final touches on high end installations. I just call it the "Power Bar". It's made from 1/4" thick 6061 alloy brushed aluminum bar stock, and measures 1-3/4" wide by 9-1/2" long. It has a clear anodized finish. The holes are placed such that a cord can be neatly coiled from 3-1/2" up to 8". The pegs are 3/8" thick and are nickel plated steel. Up until now, in order to get one, you kind of had to know somebody who knew somebody, or you had to make one yourself. There are plenty of copies out there, some as simple as two finish nails and a chunk of 2x4.
