The Powermate BlackMax Ridgid now has a Natural Gas Propane Conversion Kit available, which features a Tri-Fuel System. This kit allows the generator to start using gasoline, propane, or NG at 11 w.c. pressure or less. The best part: it's a complete kit that comes pre-assembled with an Aluminum Venturi Adapter LP Tank Reg, Fuel Controller, Clamps, and Hose. One of the reasons why this kit is more affordable is due to the major labor savings. There's no need to cut the frame, and the fuel mixer venturi is only 12mm thick, thereby eliminating any choke plate interference. As an added bonus, the kit clamps easily to the frame, meaning you don't have to drill anything. Furthermore, the kit includes a 125,000 BTU LP step-down 11 w.c. regulator and a 4 ft hose with connect fittings for ultimate convenience.
