 USED Totally Rebuilt Powermatic Model 81 20" Band Saw Powermatic precision means exacting engineering and design to assure superior accuracy in every band saw job you do. Powermatic dependability means years of rugged service on the production line or job shop operation. With a balance combining rigid heavy gauge sheet steel and cast iron construction, the Powermatic Model 81 has all moving parts enclosed to help insure safety. Special Shipping Options: We will palletize, shrink wrap and load on a truck at no "No Charge". If you are with in 50 miles of 48036 we will deliver for a small fee. Fee depends upon how far from our location. Powermatic 20" Vertical Band Saw: Model 81 Wood Cutting SN: 7981065 With Fence and Protractor. 3 phase. skidded & Shrinkwrapped  Weight 870lbs. Features: Welded design of rugged reinforced steel...nothing die cast. Made of finest machined castings, dynamically balanced and fitted with vulcanized tires. Upper and lower wheels run in lubricated-for-life ball bearings. Ground to precision tolerance. Mounted on heavy-duty trunnion to tilt 45° right, 15° degrees left. Front edge machined and drilled for mounting rip fence. Belt driven two speed, powered by 1800 RPM motor mounted on adjustable motor base. Standard with manually operated foot brake. Top and bottom saw guides are ball bearing to assure minimum friction and increase blade life. Conveniently located hand-wheel for blade tension adjustment. Spring mechanism absorbs shock and maintains uniform tension on the blade.
