We are selling a Powermatic model 88 Vertical bandsaw. Saw is in very good condition. Runs great. Saw is variable speed for infinite tuning of blade speed, plus machine is outfitted with a 2 speed gearbox for cutting of wood, metal, and plastics. This is a model 88 saw. It is the same as the legendary model 87 powermatic except the table slides under power. This was the highest grade of 20 inch bandsaw available from powermatic. There is a feed rate control knob right at the table so the operator can adjust with ease. The table can also be left stationary and saw can be used the same as any other vertical bandsaw. Overall the saw is in great shape and ready to be put to work. Tires are nice, has a friction guide with roller bearing back guide. It can be set up to run on either 220 or 440 volt 3 phase.
