Powis Parker Fastback 15 Binding Machine For sale- a Powis Parker Fastback 15 Binding Machine. It is in good physical condition as you can see, and it powers up, immediately saying it is “Heating”. After a fairly lengthy warm up the display finally goes to READY. Playing with the OPEN and EDIT buttons the machine opens to various configurations. If you hit the BIND button the display tells you to “MOVE BOOK”, no doubt because it doesn’t sense anything in the binding area. Otherwise untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk. If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you, and if not you need to pass on this particular item. I opened the binder up and it looks pretty clean inside. The counter is showing 022902. So used but not abused. Comes with the plastic wavy thing that was attached on top but nothing else. I will under NO circumstances ship it UPS, the people there don’t seem to be smart enough to handle a shipment charged to the recipients account, nor do they appear to be smart enough to correct their mistake after the fact. With increasing frequency the ebay shipping calculator seems to be incapable of actually “calculating”, instead it prefers to tell you that the zip code you have entered is invalid. Unless/Until they can fix it the only thing I can do is to plug my zip, your zip, the weight and dimensions in at fedex.com to arrive at a shipping cost for your particular shipment. So if ebay isn’t providing a shipping cost automatically, you can always go to fedex.com and estimate it yourself. It would be shipping from a fedex terminal in 22902 in a box presumed to be 28x24x16, 70 pounds. Please note that I almost never have boxes that big just lying around, so no doubt I will have to go out and buy one, that could delay shipping for several days.
