PRECISION CUTAWAY PRACTICE LOCK EASY RE-KEY CUTAWAY PRACTICE LOCK. This is a great sales tool to show your customers how master keyed locks work or to train an apprentice. This lock clearly shows just how locks work and can be re keyed without any tools. VERY RARE!!!! WON'T LAST LONG!!!!! This lock can be re-keyed with having to disassembling it and is the perfect training ad for anyone wanting to practice re-keying locks This lock cylinder has openings cut into the pin chambers that allow you to see the inner workings of the lock when a key is inserted. You actually can see the pins moving up and down as the key slides into and out of the lock. We primarily use Schlage SC4 key-ways but can make this lock in different key-ways depending on availability. If you would like a specific key-way please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. You can re-key the lock without using any tools by simply turning the key so that the pins line up with the slot by the pin stack. Then you can dump out the old pins insert a new key and insert the new pins. You can also see what happens when the wrong key is inserted. This lock comes with 2 keys. One working key, and one non working key. BONUS1: Some extra pins and springs so you can re-key the locks.
