Precise Steel Crafters / Machinists Squares Scale Set of 4 Heavy Hand Made Very useful in measuring 90 degree angles and checking the "straightness" of an edge or surface. A very useful tool in design. There is even a small notch at the inside corner of the square to prevent dirt or debris from accumulating and affecting how the square reads. Does not have measurements on it. Not 100% Sure, but these appear to be Premium engineer/machinist squares manufactured in the USA by Precision Engineering Corporation (PEC Tools) in strict accordance with the derived tolerances of the Federal Specifications Code No. GGG-S-656E 29 Jan 1996. They have true right angles for both inside and outside edges and are guaranteed to be square to within +/- 0.0006” (That’s 6 ten-thousandth of an inch!) over the entire length of the blade. These squares feature hardened carbon tool steel blades and base that are ground and lapped for straightness and parallism. The fit and finish on these squares are exquisite.
