This is a purpose British made, precision Brass Pyro Crossette Star Pump for making Pyrotechnic splitting stars or comets.(Not to be confused with cheap Chinese pumps) It will make splitting stars or comets just under 1ins diameter to fit into a standard 1ins inside diameter cardboard tube. The length of the star can vary depending on how much composition is put into the pump. For those of you not familiar with using this tool, the process is simple. Just retract the piston into the tube, push into damp composition, compress by hand or with a mallet and eject the star with the piston. The photos shows the pump with the piston showing. I also have 1/2in and 3/4 ins star pumps but I only have this one size of crossette See my other listings or ask. I sell 1/2ins, 3/4ins. and 1ins. thick walled tubes, see my other listings or ask if you dont see what you want.
