Precision Twist L10 High Speed Steel Jobber Drill Bit, Uncoated (Bright) Finish, Round Shank, Spiral Flute, 118 Degree Point Angle, 1/8" (Pack of 12 ) The Precision Twist L10 jobber drill bit is a conventional point, general purpose, round shank drill bit made of HSS with an uncoated (bright) finish. It is suitable for drilling to a depth up to four times the diameter of the drill. Good for portable or machine drilling. The shank diameter is the same as the drill size. It was designed for drilling holes into a wide variety of metals and synthetic materials. The L10 series has a type H flute form, with a slow spiral (10- to 20-degree helix angle) have best performance for drilling into copper. The uncoated finish helps increase chip flow in soft materials. Round shanks allow use with a wide variety of tool holding systems. They are a common choice for drilling shallow holes in brass or similar materials. This design allows for heavy feed rates and will move large volume of chips compared to standard helix drills.
