I am offering for auction a like new condition Premier 1 4000s Shearing Machine, complete with 2 Phantom R 20 tooth combs and 3 Spitfire 4-point cutters. I purchased this set new only a year ago to use for shearing Angora goats. As I no longer own the goats, I no longer need the shears. Only used twice. Combs and cutters are like new and free of rust, but will likely require sharpening prior to use. Unit is under manufacturer warranty -- will include a copy of the original bill of sale with auction. This auction includes: --Premier 1 4000s Shearing Machine --2 Phantom R 20 tooth combs --3 Spitfire 4-point cutters --Screwdriver --Bottle of white oil (partially used) --Instruction Manual --Locking carry case, with keys According to the Premier 1 website: Common Uses Blocking Show Sheep Shearing Smaller Flocks Shearing Fiber Goats Peeling and Blocking Beef & Dairy Cattle Shearing Alpacas & Llamas Specs 110 volt. Quieter. Less motor "whine", kind to your ears and less likely to upset animals. Permanent rare-earth magnet motor enable more torque (power) and require less space and weight than ordinary motors.Less heat is produced by the permanent magnet motor and the fan forces air forward through our heads- so the heads run 20 degrees F cooler. Up to 20% shorter in length than other motors. Weighs up to 15% less than other motors. Smaller grip than other motors. Internal roller bearings instead of bushings (less heat, less wear and greater longevity). Sleek, low profile head design (sharp visual look that catches your eye and impresses observers). Suspended fork system (reduces risk of stripping the gear drive or breaking comb teeth). No cutter retainer or retaining spring (both caused hassles and broke too readily). Improved tensioning concept (spring clip is more effective at retaining tension than cupped washers). No more black plastic sides (these were prone to falling off and frustrating users). Only 3 minutes to change a shear head to clipper head (order under "Accessories" tab above). Motor has a 16 ft electrical cord. WarrantyCovers all labor and parts for 3 years from the date of purchase. 2 years longer than any competing unit. Warranty includes shipping to and from Premier by UPS ground (via a $12 freight reimbursement on a Premier machine under warranty).
