Otherwise ready to go! Product Description: The Energytech XtraStop 1200 adjustable output energiser is a versatile electric fence energizer for fence lengths of up to 40 km! The unit produces a powerful 10,000V output, a great deterrent for stallions, bulls and other difficult to retain stock. The XtraStop 1200 has efficient low power consumption in relation to its high pulse intensity. The energiser is designed to run off a 12 V power source, typically an automotive style battery that can be conveniently contained within the body of the unit and protected from the elements. The energiser can be powered by solar panel (panel NOT included) OR an external 12V power source up to 25W. Should you want to utilise a solar panel the energisers internal charge controller is good for up to 25W solar input. A 10W panel will support operation at low distance setting (7-10 km). A 15-20W panel the energiser will support ongoing operation at medium setting (up to 20 km). A 30W panel (with charge controller) will support ongoing operation at maximum setting (up to 40 km). The energizer has front panel input connectors for easily attaching a solar panel or other 12V source (up to 25W). The energizer features internal charge controller circuitry to regulate the incoming voltage from a solar panel when charging the battery. It also features a variable power control knob and an operation indication light.
