Prescolite Recessed Ermergy Lighting Unit Putty Color ERC-2R Model: ERC-2R (4V, 14.4W) Easy Installation in Wall or Ceiling Universal Mounting Pattern Compact, low-profile design Fully automatic, solid state charger Housing Faceplate is molded from high impact mar-resistant thermoplastic in a textured white finish. The ERC-2R housing is fabricated from stamped steel. Housing can be recessed directly into wall or ceiling or with an optional troffer mounting kit for T-bar ceilings. Knockouts are provided on the top and side of the housing for conduit feed. Suggested Specifications Self contained emergency lighting unit shall be Prescolite Life Safety Products model ERC-2R. The unit shall supply the rated load for a minimum of 11 /2 hours to not less than 871 /2% of rated battery voltage. The unit shall be rated 120/ 277VAC, 60 Hz and be listed with Underwriters Laboratories to Standard 924. The unit shall be supplied with a steel recessed back box containing all electronic components. Thermoplastic lighting heads and matching mounting plate will be supplied in a textured white finish. The emergency power source shall be a fully rechargeable maintenancefree, 6 volt lead-acid battery. The housing shall be recessed into the wall or ceiling. Electronics shall include a solid state charger with regulated charge voltage, current limitation and short circuit protection. A low voltage disconnect and AC lock-out will also be included in the electronics. AC pilot light and manual test switch are standard. Illumination shall be provided by two 6 volt, 5.4 watt PAR 36 sealed beam type incandescent lamps housed in fully directional, high impact lamphead assemblies.
