Tap threads in steel or softer metals with your drill press or mill and drill. Automatically reverses when quill is raised. Easy to use. Recommended tapping speeds for various sizes are available on line by searching google, yahoo etc. Procunier 3E Tap Head, 17 collets and extra collet holder. This is a very high quality brand. Will tap 1/2 in. in steel and 3/4 in softer metals (aluminum, brass etc.) This has a Morse Taper (MT) 3 to connect to the spindle of your drill press or mill. It has been serviced to be sure it taps and reverses as it should and the recommended amount of oil added (8 drops). You will need to get a piece of round rod that goes in the top of the tap head. The rod comes up against the drill press column to hold the tap head from moving. I don't remember the size but its roughly 3/8 -1/2 and can be purchased at any hardware store. Comes with 17 collets. Some are duplicates. Also comes with extra collet holder. Collets:  #8, #10, two 1/4, 9/32, 5/16, three 3/8, 7/16, two 1/2, 9/16, two 5/8, 11/16, 3/4 I purchased about 4 years ago and used occasionally but now have variable speed reversing drill press and haven't used the Procunier for a year or so. Time for a new home with someone who can appreciate quality machine tools and use it.
