Vintage metal on wood Printing Block Plate (about 7 3/8" high x 4 1/8" wide) that will print a page for a sales order form tablet, to order supplies for professionals and businesses.   Nice survivor/example of an earlier time when businesses ordered reusable supplies from a service.  Supplies can be ordered on this form for doctor, manicure, barber, bowling alley, checkroom, office, bar or restaurant.  These supplies that can be ordered, some outdated by today's standards are clothes, linens and glass.  Clothes are dusters, slips, aprons, bib aprons, hickory bibs/overalls.  Linens are individual towels, bath towels, mop towels, wipes, sheets, table cloths, napkins (plain or damask).   Our family is the original owners of these blocks. All are old and used so it is normal for them to appear stained, corroded, pocked, have dings and that old smell.
