This listing is for a NEW Ultraviolet urine detection blacklight made by The Bramton Company in Dallas, TX.  This is the professional/commercial model (Outright-UV 1000).  It measures approximately 19 1/2 inches by 5 inches by 2 3/4 inches (not including the handle).  It has an 18 inch blacklight bulb that generally lasts for 5000 hours. According to the brochure, this light utilizes a technology that is imperative for the detection of both human and pet urine accidents.  When accident areas are not detected and cleaned immediately, unpleasant odors as well as damage to floor coverings can develop in a short period of time, especially carpeting. By simply turning the light on and walking from room to room throughout a home, hospital, nursing home, day care center or rental property, accident areas quickly illuminate.  Regardless of the color of carpeting or color enhancers added to carpeting to extend their life, accident areas clearly stand out.
