This is a brand new set of 3 pieces (two tier) bamboo steamer, perfect for steaming vegetables, dim sum and other nature and healthy food. Steaming is the best way to enjoy the natural flavor of cooked foods, and to get the most in vitamins and other nutrients. For proper steaming, the water should never touch the food. While using the bamboo steam, pour 1/2 water in your flat bottom pan (a wok will work too) and set the steamer in the pan/wok. The steam will travel into the steamer to cook the food naturally. The bamboo lid will lock the moisture in the steamer to thoroughly cook the food. It is always a good idea to check the water level in the pan to prevent the pan from drying out.
