Just in from a local aerospace company sale comes this surplus Prostat PWA-805 ESD Wrist Strap Auditor, Used General Overview Add the capability of electrically testing your wrist straps according to ESD S1.1-1998 Evaluation Testing Paragraph 5.1. Measure the Interior of the Wrist Strap Cuff Measure the Exterior of the Wrist Strap Cuff Measure the Resistance of the Ground Cord Alone Measure the Resistance of the Whole Wrist Strap Assembly Use the fixture to: Specify the best wrist strap to be worn in your facility Spot check wrist straps being used on the floor to confirm wrist strap checker reliability Determine which part of the wrist strap is failing and replace that part only Specifications Fixture Case: 4.6" L x 2.75" W x 0.95" H inches Wrist Strap Cylinders: Two (2) top mounted metal cylinders: 1 fixed, 1 adjustable for cuff size Cylinder Diameter: 1.25" x 1.0" H Adjustable cylinder equipped with knurled locking screw for positioning Controls: Three position rocker switch: (1) Cuff Only [Resistance between Cylinders] (2) Cuff & Cord Assembly [Resistance from cord ground point to cuff cylinder]; (3) Cord Only [Resistance from cord ground point to cuff snap connections] Connections: Megohmmeter: 2 banana receptacles for meter leads Cord Groundable Point: 1 banana receptacle 2 Cord Cuff Snaps: 1 each 7mm diameter, 1 each 4mm diameter Power: Not Applicable.
