Proxima Ovation 920 XGA TFT LCD Projection Panel w Sync Converter, Cables, Case This is a high-quality, bright, colorful, fast-responding LCD panel (with no cheap DLP color-wheel rainbow flicker) for an overhead projector commonly used with letter-size transparencies: a transitional technology between film projectors and dedicated electronic video projectors. For general use the performance is generally not as good as moderately-priced modern video projectors, nor is operating cost as compared to projectors with bulbs that, while expensive or even overpriced by tying to a particular projector model, last at least thousands of hours. But as a large, discrete item this may be more suitable for special projects. Or, it could work great to keep an old setup going. Keep it turned on whenever light is shining through it to prevent heat damage. Such panels first listed for many thousands of dollars! The original price means little, but the build quality remains in keeping with an overall costly item. Works great by simply plugging it into an ordinary VGA output. Comes with aftermarket power supply, aftermarket 13W3 (old Sun style, to match the panel's input) to VGA video cable, and a Software Integrators 7041 Sync Converter needed for use with some modern PC video adapters that provide a slightly different signal format than the panel expects. The case is a Sharp branded hard case with some markings that do not affect its structural integrity. It would also be suitable for a large laptop. Seller Notes	“Good working condition and good cosmetic condition for older, used but not abused computer equipment. A little dust inside on the panel; a lower access panel can be opened to gently remove some of it from underneath but some accumulation is normal, it will not be in focus, and opening further to clean risks damage.”
