This unit is equipped with the Psoralite Comflex Joulee dosimetry control panel which allows you to enter the required dose - and the unit will measure the total dose received and shut off the illumination when the prescribed exposure is complete, taking into account factors such as ambient temperature and AC line voltage that affect the output level. Personally I just use the same time each treatment as there isn't much change in output from day to day. Fans at the base of each panel provide air flow for both patient and the lamp ballasts during the exposure. The unit works as it should and has been in use a couple of times a week for several years with no issues. I am relocating and would prefer not to have to transport this item.
