PTC Start Switch for Edgestar Kegerator compressor, Replaces QP2-4.7 1 pin 4.7 ohm PTC start switch, 1 pin P/N QP2-4R7 replaces the QP2-4.7G used on the Edgestar or Danby kegerator, Danby wine fridge and small refrigerators.  Replaces the 4.7 ohm used on Edgewater, Kenmore, Vissani, Igloo and Insignia If you hear a click, but the compressor does not run, this could be the problem. To test your old PTC, use an ohm meter to measure the resistance. From the lug to compressor connection across from the lug, about 0 ohms. From the lug to compressor connection away from the lug, 3.5 to 6 ohms. Due to the design, a lot of these fail at 3 to 6 years depending on the humidity and how much it runs. I ship by the next business day. Part is protected by foam and shipped in poly shipping bag. I pay for tracking, but do not always get tracking from the post office. The delivery date is the post office's estimate of when they will deliver. They do not always make the estimated date. I know people who buy this part need it NOW. I just do not control the post office.
