I purchased two of these units in an auction lot. they came in original boxes but are in used condition. from my research they are used in storage facilities for gated and coded access to property and they retail for approx 1500.00 when new. I have no way of testing these but even for parts to keep your system up and working they should be a good investment.I know they are still used because the facility I use still uses this exact unit.It is listed as an Apex model dual intercom system part # PAXADAKSDIO made by PTI security systems. I have the other unit in a seperate auction on e-bay
