This is a rare opportunity to buy a spent sputtering target of pure iridium at only 100% of the market price, without any other markups. This is a sputtering target pressed from pure iridium sponge at a density of 78% of theoretical, by my estimate. (It measures 1.990" diameter x 0.12" thick, there is a sputter trough about 0.02" deep along the top surface, and the bottom surface is clean (no indium). If you want to use it as a sputtering target, you have a working thickness of 0.100", so you can get a lot of use out of it. Or, if you are interested in buying it as an investment, or for the collectability of a pure precious metal, this is about as nice a piece as you can get .
