For sale bars of pure tin. This bar weighs between 6 and 7 pounds, average bar is 6.6 lbs. 99.8% pure, low lead. Also know as .005 tin. One of the purest tins on the market today. We buy .005 tin in large quantities and melt for use in our pewter alloys. Very easy to melt with a propane torch and you can make any size you need. The symbol for Tin is Sn The atomic number for Tin is 50. Tin is a soft, malleable metal that resists corrosion well. Melting point of 449 f.
