It can output PWM square wave, track wave, triangle wave, saw-shaped wave and sine wave. The wave frequency, wave radian, posedge/negedge time, etc, are adjustable. (The generator's output of pulse frequency can be adjusted with the C29 capacitor onboard. Default setting of C29 is 0.1uf. Max frequency output can be 300kHz.) Module Parameters & Details: •Frequency range: 10Hz~300kHz •Duty ratio adjustable range: 2%~98% •Voltage: Input DC 10~30V (recommended voltage: 12~18V. can maintain optimum performance within this range) •Voltage: Note: Input voltage should NOT exceed 30V, otherwise IC will burn. When input below 10V, no wave output from the module. •Current: the module has a output drive current of around 10mA. Please keep power supply to the module is at least 30mA •Output Frequency: frequency is adjusted from section to section by changing jumper over capacitor oscillator on the board. The external capacitor oscillator is C1, C3, C4, C2, C29, the corresponding capacitance is 100PF, 1NF, 10NF, 0.1UF, 1UF, five sections in total, with neighboring frequency multiplied by 10 times. (example: suppose now jumper is at C4, adjust frequency control potentiometer to output 2KHZ signal, then change jumper to C2, frequency would be 20KHZ, again change to C3, frequency would be 200HZ) •Output Frequency: if need 80KHZ - 300KHZ high frequency signal, we need 1) MUST use flex cable to lead signal out from jumper; 2) external capacitor oscillator change to < 100PF ( smaller capacitance, higher frequency) •Output Amplitude: The minimum output amplitude of (Sine Wave / Triangle Wave / Saw-Tooth Wave) is approximately 30% peak-to-peak value of power supply voltage; PWM.Square Wave/ Rectangular Wave amplitude is approx. 80% pk-pk value of power supply voltage. (e.g Under 12V power supply: Saw-tooth wave / Sine Wave / Triangle Wave output amplitude is 4V-VPP (12V*30%), PWM.Square Wave / Triangle Wave output amplitude is 9.6V-VPP (12V*80%) ). •Output Amplitude: the adjust range of amplitude output potentiometer is 30%~80%VPP of power supply voltage. ( Attention: if gain too big or too small, wave distortion will happen) Shift of output wave type: 1) Triangle Wave, Saw-tooth Wave (clock-wise& counter clock-wise) Jumper at position as in below image: Adjust posedge/negedge potentiometer to change angle and direction of triangle wave Adjust frequency potentiometer to change frequency of triangle/saw-tooth wave (In fact, saw-tooth wave is a type of triangle wave) 2) Sine Wave Please shift jumper to sine position, as per below image: Adjust posedge/negedge potentiometer to change angle and direction of sine wave. Adjust frequency potentiometer to change sine wave frequency. Adjust sine wave radian: upper and lower radian potentiometer. Please Note: when over-switched, the two pots will exchange function: lower becomes upper, vice versa. But this will not affect performance of module. Speed potentiometer is for fine tuning of wave. In normal conditions we don't need to use it. 3) PWM Square Wave, Rectangular Wave Please shift jumper to PWM.Square Wave, Rectangular position, as per below image: Adjust posedge/negedge pot to change duty ratio of PWM. Square Wave / Rectangular Wave Adjust frequency pot to change corresponding frequency Speed potentiometer is for fine tuning of wave. In normal conditions we don't need to use it. Other uses: If need over 100KHZ frequency & require strict about distortion, we can: put flex cable on jumper, lead the un-amplified signal out. Jumper definitions are as follows: Use 2.54mm-interval flex cable will work. GND can use terminal to connect. Sine Wave / Triangle Wave are 1/3 VPP of power supply voltage, PWM.Squaer Wave is 4/5 VPP of power supply voltage.
