Quadrel R220 CONTINUOUS-FEED UNWIND  The dual supply roll capacity of the R220 remote powered unwind improves the efficiency of any roll-fed labeler by providing nonstop, uninterrupted label supply at very high speeds. The R220 can easily be modified for stand-alone use and comes complete with two 20” (508mm) unwinds, splicing station, low label and end of web sensors. R220 Operation The R220 functions as a self contained loop label supply. At a predetermined level, a sensor activates a warning light and signals the drive to feed the remaining labels on the roll in use into a holding bin. The second label roll is then spliced to the end of the web as the labels in the bin are consumed. The operator completes the changeover by reloading the empty station and resetting the system for the next changeover. Microprocessor Control A simple microprocessor controller allows user-friendly interface and features onboard diagnostics and time delay adjustments.
