For your consideration I have a Ball Lock or Quick Release push pin by Avibank, par number: 56090-19 (ground holding pin)? Its actual OD is .623" (15.8mm) so this is for a 5/8" hole, pins usable length is 1.9". It is alloy steel with a steel round handle with a steel push button release. Item looks to be un-used? No spiral pin, but there is a hole for one. Items looks to be stainless steel but a magnet sticks to it. Please ask questions before bidding?
