Railroad flat car for sale Great for Bridge Deck For those needing a bridge deck here is your solution. These can save you $$$$ as opposed to an engineered roadway bridge which start at 50K. This is a an all steel 53'6"x 10.5' Railroad flat car. These are getting hard to find now as the railroads do not use them much any more. This flat car was built in 1942 and retired in the early 1980's. There is no wooden decking on the flat car. Buyer will be responsible for moving. Approx weight is 26,000 lbs. This can be moved on a flat tractor trailer rig. This flat car will support over 60 tons of weight on its span. Reasonable offers will be considered. We were going to be using this as a bridge at our property in the foothills of Northern CA but have gone another route. Inspection is available with reasonable notice.  If interested we also have 1/4" Steel Plates (this was USGI surplus) 12'x9' to offer that can be used for the bridge decking PAYMENT: Payment will be made through PayPal.  Down Payment of 2000.00 is expected within 7 days of the auction's end. Complete payment to made within 30 days after close of auction. To protect myself from non-paying bidders, I must require that If payment is not made or you have not contacted me after 10 days the item will be reported unpaid and may be re-listed as per EBAY policy.  RETURN POLICY: All "Auction" sales should be final, that is the whole concept of an EBAY auction.  Items are described to the very best of my ability.  I never deliberately conceal damage or flaws as this is wrong and leads to bad Karma.  PICK UP OF ITEM: Buyer is responsiable for pickup of rail car. Weight is 26000 lbs approx. Item must be moved within 60 days after complete payment is made.  SALES TAX: California residents must add 8.75% sales tax to the sale price.
