Adjusting Arc To set up the 32SA sprinkler's rotation (arc), turn on the water and rotate the shaft by hand to the right until it stops, and then to the left until it stops. That is your fixed left edge. Then turn the entire rotor until it is lined up with where you want the sprinkling pattern to start on that left edge. The rotor is preset at the factory to rotate 180 degrees from that left starting point. To change the arc from its preset rotation, make final adjustments with the top screw using a screwdriver, increasing or decreasing as desired.
