This is Ransome Golf Leader Automatic Spin Grinder for sharpening reel mowers. It grinds a perfect cylinder reel and can also put relief grind on too. It will accommodate any type of reel with drive options from either left or right side. There is also two extra accessories plates for the chance you need to set up differently from brand to brand when setting a reel up in grinder. This is a extreme heavy duty machine with large motors on all drive out puts. This machine was purchased new for 15,000.00. We have the price set lots lower for a quick sale and a good deal for you. Take a look at all the pics really good. I have tried to show every aspect of this machine really well for your inspection. There is a heavy swing boom attached to the corner of the grinder along with a chain hoist to lift reels and swing them into the machine for set up and take down. Their is extra parts, mounting plates and shorter mounting arms included with this auction. The manual and parts diagram and trouble shooting book is also included. This machine is estimated weight at about 1800 lb. The dimensions are with out the boom attached, 75" L x 42" W x 65" Tall. Again it's a very well built Heavy Duty Machine. The grinding stone itself is a large 9" inch diameter x 1.25" wide. It makes really Short work of the toughest reel grinding and saves lots of time. The Grinder at times has had a traverse breaker trip and may need to be reset. Traverse is what moves the Grinder motor with grinding wheel back and fourth on the carriage. We have not even took time to read the trouble shooting section but suspect it is something really simple and electrical. We just hit reset and kept grinding.
