This is a very gently pre-owned and very lightly used, if at all, rare and unique vintage revolver holster from COLT. This is a marked genuine COLT article. This holster is rendered in BLACK rubber and features a minimalist design that retains the pistol with the least possible coverage. I was told that the original owner referred to it as a COLT BIKINI or SLELETON holster. The holster appears to fit Police Positive or Detective sized revolvers and retains the weapon with molded in cylinder and ejection rod grooves and a thumb break. The open design works with any barrel length. The holster appears to attach to the belt with a spring loaded open bottom clip. There is also a rubber plug that fits into the belt slot when not in use. This great holster was obtained in a veteran police officer’s estate sale lot and I know nothing of its actual age or origin. It is clean and sound and fully functional. This is a great COLT collectible or everyday use holster. Don’t miss it. This item is being sold as is and as shown.
