MARTIN NO.4 GRAIN MILL   !!! MADE IN OUR GOOD OL' USA !!!     ...and made from the days when a company and its workers were proud of their products and made sure to resemble that good-natured pride by actually showing it in their work/craftsmanship and quality materials.   Will Undoubtedly Make A NICE Addition For An Antique Restoration Project, The Antique Collector, Someone Looking For Replacement Parts, Or The Person Who Loves To Tinker With Hit N Miss Engines Showing Others At The County Fairs How They Use To Grind Grains!   SHIPPING NOTICE: Due to the size, weight, and awkwardness of its shape/dimensions, it should be picked up in person however if you choose to have it shipped, it is BEST if YOU contact a freight shipper in order to work out the details/arrangements since this is the first time me and my husband have ever listed something of this sort on ebay, but will do our best to work with you :o) CONSIDERATION: This will be listed on craigslist as well, therefore this item is a first come first serve basis. Due to several messages asking if we would accept a lower amount for this, buyers need to take into consideration that we're not getting rich selling things here. Ebay is a business, and businesses are often greedy whereby even when they PROFIT millions, this is never enough for them. Ebay charges 10% on the final sale price and on the shipping costs therefore ebay gets to take 30.00 and if you are up to date on things, ebay and paypal recently separated and so now paypal is getting to charge their own fees for the sale as well. After it's all said n done, we have to hand over approx 40.00 DESCRIPTIONS: This an early 1900's Martin No.4 Grain Mill made by the MARTIN MFG. CO.  My husband inherited his grandparent's house and property several years ago and this grinder was stored in the garage attic. We need to make space and so it's time that someone can actually use this equipment instead of being stored where no one can enjoy it. These were made by Myron Rufus Martin who was an early manufacturer of bicycles (1895) and the two-cylinder automobiles (1899). Not long after, he went on to invent the Martin grain grinder which is a high speed grinder that initially was intended to operate with a small gasoline engine and then later on was often ran by a tractor's pto belt-drive as well as the hit n miss and steam engines PLEASE NOTE: We believe this grain mill is in good condition especially considering how old these mills are. May have scratches, missing/flaking paint, rusting, or other imperfections that are inevitable due to conditions beyond our control. Therefore nowhere have we said or implied that this item is in absolute perfect condition, and obviously working tools/implements are not something that stay in the condition of when they came off of the manufacture's production line. Truly sorry but we do not have any way to test this since we do not have anything to test it with. Please understand we ARE NOT grain mill experts or professional grain mill collectors and so have no idea about these other than doing the standards/basics which was to turn the shaft with the belt pulley making sure the shaft and grinding plates were not froze up. We turned it and THEY DO SPIN FREELY. Since we don't know hardly anything about these and have no way of running it in order to test it, this is being sold AS IS for you to make your own decision as to if this item will meet your individual interests/expectations.  Please contact us for questions or concerns that should be addressed before committing to a purchase and paying for the item, and we will GENUINELY do our best to answer them. We don't spend the extensive time to take pictures and list/describe every scratch, ding, chip, missing fasteners, etc etc. However if you would like to see more pics for your own personal/individual assessments, we will take more pics upon your request :o) !!! DO NOT commit to buy until first READING & AGREEING to our specific payment, shipping, packaging, return, etc policies !!! which are clearly presented further down the page...   ...AND IF YOU DONT COMPLETEY AGREE TO OUR POLICIES, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM   And Can Easily Choose To Buy From Sellers Who Have Policies That Meet Your Specific Preferences   _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________   TERMS & CONDITIONS Payment: We can only accept payment through PayPal at this time.
