RARE Deposit With Rochelle State Bank Rochelle Illinois Printers Block The majority of blocks I am selling are made between early 1940's - early 1960's. A few are a little earlier and a few a little later It is Metal on Wood Block Approx Measurements: 6-9/16 X 3-1/8 PLEASE NOTE: The block is a somewhat darker than shown as this was done with FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY. The detail of the very small writing was done with a Lighted Magnifier and is more legible and the characters are much sharper than what is shown, I simply wanted to indicate how legible it was...it is in fact awesome and although I find some more unique than others, this one is the best I have come across in terms of Subject Matter, Detail & Legibility. Block is in Nice Vintage condition and pic shows both Original and Reverse. More Importantly it is in Useable Condition as Intended. It can be used for Printing/Letter Presses, Wall Hangings, Display in Cabinets or Fireplace Mantles, Hand Print on Card Stock, Decorate Cloth Material ...or whatever your imagination can come up with!!!
