This awesome and very rare 100mm JIN-TAN padlock is a real beauty!!  This beast of a lock weighs in at 912 grams! (2.01 pounds) JIN-TAN Padlocks are no longer produced and are very very hard to find these days! Due to this~ this lock would go great in a Rare Lock and Key collection!    If you do plan on using it in the real world, it is perfect for any application that's demands high security with a big tough lock.   The Shackle is completely removable, making it very convenient to use.  This is the largest Jin-Tan lock that was ever produced and was   only made in limited number.  It has the logo and original patent number engraved in the lock.  Some of you may have seen my post about these on Keypicking.com! It has been sitting on the Locksmith shelf for all these years~ it picked up a few minor superficial scrapes and scuffs.
