*This very unique lock is one of my favorite lock designs! These locks are very hard to find*  This lock is in fantastic condition and has never been used or exposed to the elements. The lock you will receive will be in its unopened and original packaging. **(All photos of the opened lock are for display purposes)** The lock has a great weight and size!  It weighs about 975 grams! (2.15 pounds!) It is just about 15 years old (manufactured in 2000) and has been out of production for almost as many years.  These are SUPER Clever and amazing locks! I never heard of someone picking or bumping these locks. The mechanism has 4 cylinder segments with 4 pins/wafers each- For a total of 16 elements that must interact with the key!  The patented keyway is very narrow and long to accommodate the card key  >The Key has holes punched in different places to interact and move the pins/wafers to different depths and allow them to move into a specially designed cut out and them allow the cylinder to rotate.  The Shackle is fully removable for convenience > It is also Double Locking to be resist any attempt at shimming it.  ?VIDEO DEMO: (operation and detailed explanation:)   >>See it here:    youtu.be/TgGs1enmPLI It works great for general use, but this is a must have for any Collector or Locksport Enthusiast!  NOTE: Although this lock works perfectly and is ready for use.
