Offered for auction is an original Medical Plastics Laboratory Heart model. This is the earlier version from Medical Plastics Laboratory, Inc and is dated from 1978. This is considered one of the BEST medical heart models ever made. Detail of this model is absolutely incredible. If you collect these models it doesn't get any better than this one. Model is approximately three times life size and is presented in the correct anatomical position when sitting, no base is included. Model presents the anatomy of the heart with the fibrous and parietal serous pericardium removed. Model opens to reveal the four chambers of the heart. It is also numbered for the areas of the heart as shown. This model is mint, one of the hinges needs a little adjustment, but outside of that it is in GREAT condition. Shipping only in the U. S.
