 For your consideration is a rare vintage   Pathologists Knife & Blade from MICROTOME & LIPSHAW handle assembly in the original case. First used at a Pathology Department in Michigan. Used for preparation of tissue dissections.  This knife is extremely sharp with original handle and wooden case. To assemble, slide the blade on to the tubular bar, then twist handle into blade. The case has divided compartments to store the parts and a hinged top with latch. Blade measures 10" long by 1.75"; total with the handle is approximately 14.75" long.  This is an unusual offering.
