  You have found a VINTAGE U.S. made RAYMER 829-15A 15 Watt FM RECEIVER that needs repair. Believed to be an amplifier problem as everything else works fine. At any level above a whisper, the sound distorts, followed by a loud shrill noise. The amplifier speaker connections are screw terminals accepting a 4 or 8 Ohm speaker plus the option for using it in a multiple speaker office environment with 25 Volt or 70 Volt Line speakers. The RAYMER has a beefy 3-prong AC cord/plug. Estimating C1960's-70's.
