Tungsten carbide is a very hard wearing metal which will last a long time for all your cutting needs. (2).When should i change my blade? If you start to get ragged edges or vinyl is not clean cuttting , you can also tell when are weeding vinyl becomes harder (ie) not comming of the cut area cleanly.we also reccomend changing the teflon strip . This is normally a white strip the goes across the width of the plotter under the blade which protects the blade from damage. This strip can get very worn when using the wrong pressure setting on your plotter . Its ideal to replace this strip around 2-4 months depending on usage.we do sell these ,you can see my other items.
