Vintage Canon Multi-Function office machine -- Fax, Copier, Printer. It is a free-standing Fax and Copy machine (black and white or full color). Also can be used as a computer-connected scanner and printer (using parallel connector cable. Offered VERY CHEAP because it is old technology and heavy to ship. No problem with functions. It uses BubbleJet print technology..... Canon's name for their inkjets. You have a choice of loading it with a large BC-20 black-only cartridge, or BCI-21 Black and BCI-21 Color in a BC-21 combo cartridge holder. All those are included, but no ink in them. (The printheads are in the individual cartridges, so putting in good cartridges will restore full printing capability.) As-is, you can use it only for SENDING A FAX, or SCANNING to a computer.....it needs ink to print. Paper feeds fine. It has a telephone handset with cradle that attaches to left side of the machine, like any nicely behaved Fax machine should have. Power cord is included. I will also include a telephone cable and/or a Parallel cable IF REQUESTED by buyer. (I figure most everybody already has too many of those!) Copies of the owners manual and parts catalog are included on a CDR. According to the Canon website, you can get free download drivers for just about any computer system up through Windows 8.1. However you need to run it through a parallel port, unless it works with a parallel-to-USB adapter; I have not tried that so do not know.
