The REFLEX KLYSTRON K-113 is a military grade product from Russia that is still in its original foam box packaging. It is an unused klystron that I obtained from military surplus, and while specifications for most Russian military products are not easy to locate, some data can be found on the leading slip. When turning the tuning bolt counterclockwise, the frequency goes up. The klystron is individually numbered and being tested against the specifications. The klystron features leads in different colors, including yellow for the repeller, green for the filament, and white for the cathode and cathode/filament. There is also a red lead for the resonator. The klystron requires forced air cooling with an air flow velocity of 3 meters/second, and it should be switched on by applying voltages in a specific order. The klystron operates with a 6.3V filament at 0.5-1.3A, a resonator voltage of 350V, and a negative repeller voltage ranging from -50V to -350V. It has a resistance value of no more than 100KOhm in the repeller circuit and a load SWR of 1.2 max. The cathode current ranges from 10mA to 50mA, and the frequency stabilization time is a maximum of 5 minutes.
