I bought this from a shop that was going out of business.  I don't have an 8 wire stepper to test it, but I have hooked a brushed motor to the outputs and sequenced it with a 5v ttl signal.  It appears to be in perfect working order.  I wrote 5 phase in the description, but I don't know for sure that's what it's called.  If you're looking at this though, you probably already know.
